City Colleges is offering Apple’s Develop in Swift Explorations, the first level of their Swift coding classes.
Students learn key computing concepts, building a solid foundation in programming with Swift. They’ll learn about the impact of computing and apps on society, the economy, and cultures while exploring iOS app development. Lessons take students through the app design process: brainstorming, planning, prototyping, and evaluating an app of their own.
The virtual classes are based at Kennedy-King College.
This class meets online 9 hours a week – two evenings, for 2.5 hours each, and 4 hours on Saturdays, for eleven weeks, starting on 9/22/2020.
Registration ends Sept. 21, and the boot camp costs $600.
Once you’ve successfully completed this course, you may go on to take the next two levels in Apple’s coding curriculum pathway.
