City Colleges of Chicago offers a Cybersecurity boot camp to qualified Chicago residents. This boot camp will provide both expert instruction and the equipment necessary for students to pass the CompTIA Security+ certification exam, a highly valued industry certification. Classes will take place at Harold Washington College, Wilbur Wright College and Kennedy-King College.
Develop the Skills You Need to Get a Job or Advance Your Career
Learn what you need to be prepared to take the industry-recognized CompTIA Security+ certification exam and develop important IT project management skills.
Study Under Experts in the Field
Students will learn from cybersecurity professionals working in the financial, government and retail industries. This helps learners stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, techniques, and responses.
Learn on Evenings and Weekends
This boot camp meets three times a week, totaling 10 hours. There are two online evening sessions, both of which are 2.5 hours long. The third class meets Saturdays on campus from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Students are expected to participate in all online and in-person sessions.
The current cost of the Cybersecurity boot camp is $1300.
